Performing Arts
At Forge, we provide a safe and constructive environment for students to discover and sharpen their gifts. All students are given opportunities to perform and explore their creative skills.
Our Performing Arts Program is sought out by students who desire careers on the stage, as worship leaders, and in other ways to bless others by using their gifts to honor and glorify God.
Forge offers band, drama classes, theater, choir, and praise & worship teams. These programs perform at concerts and special celebrations throughout the school year.
Many alumni have gone on to careers as professional actors, musicians, worship leaders, directors, and more, and we are excited to continue this legacy.
Fine Arts Director
Alexa Etchart
Miss Etchart was born and raised in Glasgow, Montana, where an unlikely but impressive historic summer stock theatre captured her heart at a young age. She went on to graduate from Carroll College in Helena, Montana with a BA in the Performing Arts and spent the next ten years pursuing film and TV work in Los Angeles. During that time, she booked over 20 regional and national commercials, several feature films, and a co-starring role on Grey's Anatomy.
For the last seven years, Miss Etchart has split her time between acting work and project management at the mobile gaming company, Jam City. With a passion for caring for others, she's found herself in roles heavily focused on creating the best experiences for employees and players.
In recent years, Miss Etchart has prayerfully sought a greater purpose for her life's work, one where she can glorify God with the gifts He's given her as a Christian AND an actress. Miss Etchart is beyond excited to work alongside the staff at Forge to nurture our young artists' hopes and dreams. Donna Baldwin Agency locally represents Miss Etchart and she will continue to perform as opportunities arise. She hopes the students can look to her as an example of living out their dreams, with integrity, with God's calling for their lives. Both are possible or, more aptly, "Nothing is impossible with God." -Luke 1:37
